Bike Advocacy Group Starting Up
Based on the momentum started at Bikestravaganza, a group of local cyclists (myself included) are starting a bike advocacy group for the Reno Metro area. It is tentatively called…wait for it…the Reno Metro Bicycle Advocacy Group. We are currently planning on doing a downtown ride this Sunday. Here’s the skinny:
Sunday, Sept 12 at 1:00pm
West Street Plaza, aka “Brick Park” (near Java Jungle)
Stuff to bring:
- smartphone with RSBPP app (if you have one)
- idea or topic for bike parking, locks, racks, or safety
- a friend who might be interested in joining us
